John M. Kotlar, the Vice President of Tax Affairs, has worked with Ilitch companies for more than 17 years. His prior positions with the company include Director of Tax for Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. and tax director for the Ilitch family.

Kotlar, an attorney, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan and his law degree from Detroit College of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
